Founder of Sensual Motion in Malta.
Passionate dancer and teacher originally from Poland. She gained her knowledge in dance techniques from the best international dance teachers, traveling around Europe. Her main focus are Sensual dances as Brazilian Zouk, Kizomba and Bachata Sensual.
Matylda's rich background made her teaching style very characteristic and unique. Where the passion for dance is mixed with physical education and modern psychology approach. She uses her academical education in art-therapy and music-therapy (gained at Medical University) to make every dance class a special experience.
Using substance of biomechanics and physiology of movement for your deep understanding of leading and following energy exchange, and connection.
Her philosophy of couple dance is to build the most beautiful conversation between two people, improve body understanding, discover and develop yourself.

Beatriz

Brazilian Zouk teacher at Sensual Motion.
Beatriz started dancing in 2009, where she joined the Ballroom & International Latin team at her university in the UK. She started competing that same year, and in 2010 specialised in International Latin – she trained and competed with the team until 2014. In 2011, after the competition season ended, she was getting itching feet so joined some friends who were going to a latin night. To her great surprise, a “latin night” didn’t mean a night where people danced International Latin – but rather a place where people socially danced Salsa, Bachata and even Rueda! After experiencing that, there was no going back: she was hooked and started regularly attending social events. In parallel, Beatriz discovered Forró, a Brazilian dance style, during dance festivals attended in Portugal.

In 2016, Beatriz moved to Rio de Janeiro where she took her Forró to the next level, training with Eric Celestino and Marquinhos do Forró’s team. The following year, she moved to Malta: there, she rediscovered the pleasure of Salsa and Bachata in social dancing and learned Kizomba. She joined Baila Malta where she undertook training in Salsa LA Style, Cuban Style and Mambo, all the while teaching Forró workshops on the side. In 2018, Beatriz discovered Brazilian Zouk at Sensual Motion: she quickly became addicted to the connection and freedom of musicality that this style brought her. Since then, she has been attending training 3 times a week, focusing on the quality of connection and on the interchangeability between leading and following.

Juarez

Brazilian Zouk
Juarez is a dance teacher from Brazil, and he has been teaching around Europe and in dance festivals for a number of years. While training in Brazil, he studied many dance styles: Brazilian Zouk, Forró, Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Salsa, Contemporary, Jazz, Street Dance and more.
He founded a dance school in Dublin, Ireland called "Zouk Ireland", together with Mona Byrne, where he taught for 2 years before moving to Italy. In Italy, he gave classes of Zouk, Samba de Gafieira and Forró as a solo teacher.
At the end of 2016 he moved to Malta, where he lives currently and teaches Zouk classes together with Matylda Jeanette.
Juarez was the winner of the first European Brazilian Zouk Jack & Jill in 2017, and he has taught in many festivals including Prague Zouk Congress, Tallinn Fever Fest, Dublin Fever Fest and more.
